Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed comments: bathrooms and water areas repeatedly described as clean, but at least one guest reported dirty floors; overall generally clean but some housekeeping issues noted.

Service

Consistently praised: Japanese-speaking staff, warm/welcoming and responsive service, helpful attitude mentioned in multiple reviews.

Location

Strong positive: centrally located in Little Tokyo, very close to the Metro and convenient for Union Station, Dodgers Stadium and many restaurants; repeatedly described as excellent for public transport.

Room Quality

Generally comfortable and roomy with very comfortable beds and good bathrooms (including bidets); some rooms reported as dark, occasional noise issues, and at least one guest moved to a poorer-condition room.

Amenities

Positive notes for Japanese bidets, coffee shop and a bakery, valet parking; negatives include limited microwave access (only on first floor/closed on some days), one working elevator at times, and occasional facility limitations.

Value for Money

Perceived as good value: several guests noted the breakfast buffet as a great value and praised convenience and proximity to attractions, supporting a strong value perception.

One of the few 3-star hotels in downtown Los Angeles, our Japanese-themed hotel is your ideal getaway in the Little Tokyo district. Experience the perfect blend of traditional comfort and modern convenience at Miyako Hotel Los Angeles. Miyako Hotel Los Angeles offers 174 beautifully appointed guestrooms filled with modern amenities and unique features like Japanese-inspired heated water bidets.
